We are sad to announce that on September 16, 2024, at the age of 83, Lillie Mae Cannady of Spring Lake, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Lillie may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Lillie touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She is survived by: her children, William Matthews of Spring Lake, Maurice Matthews of Raleigh, Daisy Lucas of Raleigh and Kevin Matthews of Mobile, Alabama. She is also survived by several grandchildren, and other relatives and friends.
