He was predeceased by: his mother Dorothy Jane Saddler Losh; his stepfather Jessie T. Losh; his father James Elton Upton; and his sisters, Rebecca "Becky" Taylor and Sharon K. Upton.
He is survived by: his wife Diane DelConte Upton; his daughter Felicia Upton Glanton (Marcus); his grandson Julian Glanton; and his siblings, Patsy Cicarilli (Bob), Linda Litty (Bill), Jerry Upton and Donna Schaber. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
