He was predeceased by: his parents, Jennings Bryan Thames, Sr. and Eula Bell Thames; his brother Ray Thames; and his children, Robert Ray Thames and Rosemary.
He is survived by: his wife Nancy Thames; his children, Jennings Bryan Thames, Tony (Becky) and Kathy (Alex); his brother Lamar Thames; and his siblings-in-law, Barbara Larson, Peggy North, Billy and Jewel Meadows. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren, and 6 great-grandchildren.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Emmanuel Baptist Church, Carpenters to Christ Fund.
