Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved James Young (Spring Lake, North Carolina), who passed away at the age of 90, on October 17, 2023. He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin Young and Elizabeth Young; his former wife Janis Swanson Young; his grandson Jason Robert Dayhoff; and his stepdaughter Lorrie Pies.
He is survived by: his wife Dolores Mallery Pies Young; his children, James Young, Jr. (Mary Anne), Julia Young Fremont (Gil), Jorai Young Dayhoff (Bob) and Joy Young Bates (Tim); and his stepsons, Kevin Pies (Lisi) and Jeff Pies (Leigh). He is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, six step-grandchildren and two step-great grandchildren.
