He is survived by: his wife Brenda McDonald (Lowery); his children, Sandra Stepp (Tom) and Johnny McDonald; his granddaughters, Ashleigh Stepp Peters (Cody) and Katelyn Stepp Henderson (John); his great grandchildren, Hadleigh (Ashleigh), Brooks and Blair (Katelyn); and his siblings, Jerry McDonald and Grace Gerton.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 21st 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Layton Chapel Baptist Church (201 S Main St, Spring Lake, NC 28390). A funeral service was held on Thursday, November 21st 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, November 21st 2024 from 2:30 PM to 3:30 PM at the same location.
