He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Boyd and Annie Boyd; his daughter Sandra Weaver; his stepdaughter Anita Corscadden; and his siblings, Nolan Boyd, Leon Boyd, Lewis Boyd, Sarah Tucker, Edna Boyd, Dorothy Ferrell and Margie White.
He is survived by: his wife Eleanor Boyd; his children, David Boyd, Herschel Boyd Jr. and Pamela Stewart; his stepdaughters, Pamela Eures and Ellette Shafer; his grandchildren, Adam Weaver, Olivia Boyd, Michele Teters, Stephanie Sample, Jessica Worn, Jenifer Corscadden, Diandra Corscadden, Michael Corscadden, Monica Bosch, Christina Shipman, Elizabeth Eures and Amber Eures; and his close friend Al Vizachero. He is also survived by 34 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great-grandchildren.
