It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elizabeth West (Spring Lake, North Carolina), born in Albemarle, North Carolina, who passed away on April 28, 2024, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Elizabeth may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Reverend Samuel Joseph Erwin and Jessie King Martin Erwin; and her husband Jerry Robert West, Sr. of Anderson Creek, NC.. She is survived by: her children, Jerry Robert West, Jr. of Spring Lake, NC and Mary West Lemonds (Eddie) of Spring Lake, NC; her brother Martin Erwin (Jane) of Greensboro, NC; and her grandchildren, Matthew Lemonds of Nicholasville, KY, Mallory Lemonds of Spring Lake, NC, Violet and Nathan West. She is also survived by other family members and friends.
