He was predeceased by: his parents, Utley Exzell Norris and Virginia Dare Norris; his son Shannon "Rocky" Norris; and his brother Curtis Exzell Norris. He is survived by: his wife Denise Kay Norris; his daughters, Kimberly Christianson and April Honeycutt (Gregory); and his siblings, Charles Lee Norris (Diane), Teresa Rowe (Timothy), Dennis Earl Norris and Ester Sue Hicks (Mike). He is also survived by four grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Big Dog Ranch in honor of Donnie's love for animals.
