With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Deloris Jean Clayton of Spring Lake, North Carolina, who passed away on February 13, 2022 at the age of 72. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Sherman Leroy and Lillian Smith; her husband William Edward Clayton; and her siblings, Ray Smith and Wanda Smith Hale.
She is survived by: her children, Curtis Leroy Smith (Mary CJ) of Ridgeland, SC, Howard Lee Calvin Jr. of Lillington, NC and Holly Reann Jasinski (James Scott) of Mamers, NC; her grandchildren, Aubrey, Crystal, Cassie, Marissa, Lillian, Joshua, Brooklyn and Morgan; her great grandchildren, Athena, Sophia, Kaydin, Nina and Santana; and her siblings, Charles Smith (Alice) of Brownlee, Nebraska, Virginia Norick of Missoula Montana, Dale Smith (Maxine) of Ponka, Nebraska, Joyce Lyons of Riverton, Wyoming and Sharon Snyder (Al) of Sandy. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
The family has asked for no flowers due to COVID restrictions at Sandhills Cemetery.
