She was predeceased by: her parents, Emil Gawens and Lotte Gawens; her husband Henry Schroeder; and her brother Klaus Dieter Gawens. She is survived by: her sisters, Lille Schantz (Heinz) and Armin (Frank); her niece Ina; her nephews, Uwe and Ralf Gawens; her son Troy Schroeder (DeAnn); her grandsons, Esjay Schroeder, Dalton Schroeder and Cade Schroeder; and also Jesse Goheens.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 5th 2024 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Adcock Funeral Home and Crematory (2226 Lillington Hwy, Spring Lake, NC 28390). A burial will be held on Thursday, December 5th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at the Sandhills State Veterans Cemetery (8220 Bragg Blvd, Spring Lake, NC 28390).
