He was predeceased by: his parents, Homer R. Cox, Sr. and Katherine Heldreth Cox; and his sister Carol C. Tanner. He is survived by: his wife Faye M. Cox; his daughter Lesley J. Cox; and his siblings, Linda Cox Morris and Homer R. Cox, Jr. (Jane). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
