He is survived by: his wife Mariane Taylor Franks of Spring Hope; his son Joshua Franks (Melissa Franks) of Spring Hope; his granddaughter Josie Franks; his siblings, Rhonda Franks Chused (Andy Chused) of Chapel Hill and Danny Franks (Shannon Franks) of Timberlake; his stepmother Ann Franks of Chocowinity; and his cousins, Tom, Michelle Davis of Sandy Bottom, Jeff Davis of Sandy Bottom, Allison Phillips Perry and Wally Perry of LaGrange. He is also survived by many other cousins, nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, February 2nd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Strickland Funeral Home & Crematory (211 W 3rd St, Wendell, NC 27591). A funeral service was held on Sunday, February 2nd 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
Memorial donations may be made to the International Fellowship of Christians and Jews, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, or to an organization of choice.
