It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joseph Elton Bissette (Spring Hope, North Carolina), who passed away on July 10, 2022, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Eddie Dew Bissette and Mary Morgan Bissette; his brother William Lawrence Bissette; and his siblings-in-law, Linda Brantley Bissette, Eloise Brantley Bissette, Harvey Joyner and Hank Matthews.
He is survived by: his children, Kim Bissette Hoffman (Charles) of Wilson and Joseph Scott Bissette (Amy) of Spring Hope; his siblings, Janie Bissette Joyner of Spring Hope, Gertrude Bissette Matthews of Wilmington and Edward Bissette (Marsha) of Spring Hope; his grandchildren, Hunter Hoffman (Jen) of Wendell and Talbot Hoffman of Raleigh; and also Helen Marshbourne Bissette.
