Joseph Allen Godwin Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joseph Allen Godwin (Spring Hope, North Carolina), who passed away on May 26, 2020, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lee Smith Godwin and Clyda Sykes Godwin; and his siblings, Nancy, Louise, Phyllis, Ed, Everett, Raymond, Isaac, Paul and Cecil Godwin.
He is survived by: his sister Katie Godwin Varnell of Rocky Mount; and his nephew Paul Ervin Godwin, Jr.. He is also survived by numerous other nieces and nephews.
