He is survived by: his children, James Sanders, Jr. (Elvira) of Bailey, NC, Judy Lucas of Raleigh, Tonya Sanders of Pikeville, NC, Alisa Wiggins of Louisburg and Lyndrae Brodie of Spring Hope; his siblings, Paul Sanders, Edward Sanders, Michael Sanders, Ernestine Smith of Spring Hope, Mable Wiggins of Middlesex, Lucreasy Jones of Jefferson City and Linda Graham (Greg) of Knightdale; and his close friend Diane Cooper of Spring Hope. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
