She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Grady Bass and Addie Bass; and her siblings, Reo Stamm and Otto Bass. She is survived by: her husband Bennie Lee Matthews; her children, Leigh Matthews Dunn (Robert Dunn) of Spring Hope and Anthony "Andy" Matthews (Brenda Cooper Matthews) of Spring Hope; her grandchildren, Jamie Dunn, Beth Dunn White, Drew Matthews and Drake Matthews; and her great grandchild Eli White.
