He was predeceased by: his wife Dianne G. Strickland; and his parents, Marshall Strickland and Estelle Strickland. He is survived by: his daughters, Cathy S. Barnes (Chris) and Cindy S. Joyner (Dennis). He is also survived by five grandchildren; a sister, Violet S. Weathers; and a niece.
