He is survived by: his wife Teresa Joyner-Alston; his children, Shaina Alston-Bryant (Kendrick, Sr.) of Rocky Mount, Carl Lee Alston, Jr. of Ft. Mitchell, Travis M. Alston of Greenville, Tyrone R. Alston of Rocky Mount, Donaye Graham of Wake Forest, Shelida Brittingham of Rocky Mount, Wayne Brittingham (Miranda) of Rocky Mount and Jackie Johnson of Nashville; and his siblings, Ollie Alston, Jr. of Nashville, Peggy Tabron (Donnie, Sr.) of Momeyer, Janet Macon of Spring Hope, Lisa Alston Ross (Cliff) of Fuquay Varina, Carol A. Alston of Spring Hope and Willie Alston (Shaunte) of Lynchburg, VA. He is also survived by several grandchildren; other relative and friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 26th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the William Toney's Funeral Home (516 S Poplar St, Spring Hope, NC 27882). A funeral service will be held on Friday, December 27th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Bunn Chapel Baptist Church (4218 Pleasant Grove Church Rd, Nashville, NC 27856). A burial will be held on Friday, December 27th 2024 at the Alston Family Cemetery.
