He is survived by: his wife Kim Prevatte; his children, Samantha Jones (David) of Lawndale, Amber Ray (Mikey) of Asheville and Thomas Prevatte of Spindale; and his grandchildren, Steven Whisnant, Timothy Prevatte, Krissy Prevatte, Piper Whisnant, Hunter Bowen, Alyssa Ray, Dakota Prevatte and Michael Steven Ray.
