He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd Connor and Maggie Lee Cable Connor; and his wife Sheila Dukes Connor. He is survived by: his son Steve Connor Jr. (Kim) of Rutherfordton; his grandchildren, Megan Connor of Ann Arbor, MI and Madelyn Connor of Rutherfordton; and his siblings, Barbara Freeman (Alan) of Rutherfordton and Ronnie Connor of Spindale.
