He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Haynes Dixon; his children, Linda Atchley (Gene), Nancy Meaders (Jud), Leonard Dixon (Carolyn) and John Dixon (Tracy); his grandchildren, Ginger Turner, Jeremy Atchley, CJ Meaders, Amanda Wilson, Joshua Dixon and Caleb Dixon; his stepgrandchildren, Dalton Shehan and Mercedes Walters; and his sister Mabel Bostic.
