It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Peggy Joanne Loper of Spindale, North Carolina, born in Chase City, Virginia, who passed away on August 19, 2021, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, R. E. Thomas and Ada Lillian Morris Thomas; her husband Charles Loper; her son Robin E. Loper (Sonia) of Boonville, Mississippi; her siblings, Melvin Morris Thomas and Laura Gene Lloyd; and her granddaughter Michelle Loper.
She is survived by: her daughter Bobbie Jo Morris (Kenny) of Forest City; and her sister Sandra Hutchins (Coy) of Rutherfordton. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
