It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Michael Holland of Spindale, North Carolina, who passed away on September 15, 2020, at the age of 60, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, C. M. Holland and Mary Jane Silver Hutchins; his wife Barbara Holland; his stepdaughter Stephanie Shelton; and his siblings, Tim, Monroe, James, Ken Holland and Betty Elliott.
He is survived by: his girlfriend Lisa Moore; his stepchildren, Bobby Causby, Billy Joe Causby, Misty Baker of Forest City and Christina Ferguson of Forest City; his sister Marion Hutchins of Sandy Mush; his aunt Chris Absher of Bessemer City; and his uncle John Silver of Stanley. He is also survived by seventeen grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
