It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lois Johnson Whiteside of Spindale, North Carolina, who passed away on January 9, 2024, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Theron Johnson and Mary Green Johnson; her husband E. L. Whiteside; and her brothers, Bobby Johnson and Paul Johnson.
She is survived by: her sons, Jimmy Whiteside (Sheila) of Rutherfordton and Jerry Whiteside of Spindale; her grandson Justin Whiteside (Becky); and her great grandchildren, Walker and Maddox Whiteside.
