She was predeceased by: her parents, William Perry Flynn and Ida Brackett Flynn; her siblings, Bertha Lee Putnam, Leonard William Flynn and Evelyn Flynn; and her husband George W. Melton, Sr..
She is survived by: her sons, George W. Melton Jr. (Bobbi) and Perry S. Melton (Betsy); her sister Carolyn Flynn Taylor; her grandchildren, Adrienne Allen (Mark), Quinne Teske Samantha (Blake) and Benjamin Melton; and her great grandchildren, Makenzie Allen, Corey Allen, Landon Teske, Harper Teske and Myla Smith. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Adaville Baptist Church.
