He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde Ramsey and Ruth Mayse Ramsey; his wife Shirley Lane Ramsey; and his sisters, Mary Ann Gilreath and Marie Smith.
He is survived by: his daughters, Connie Ramsey King (Blake) of Forest City and Julie Ramsey Webb (Wayne) of Spindale; his grandchildren, Cameron Greene, Connor Greene and Callie Greene; and his siblings, Bobby Ramsey of Morganton, Wayne Ramsey of Bostic, Clyde Ramsey, Jr. of Bostic, Jerry Ramsey of Bostic, Betty Richards of Inman, SC, Helen Turner of Forest City and Lola Morrow of Bostic.
