He was predeceased by: his parents, William Roscoe and Mary Sue Sisk Metcalf (Brenda Joyce Cole); his son Alan Timothy Metcalf; his grandsons, Joshua Keith Metcalf and Alex Trent Splawn; and his great grandchild Weston Chase Splawn.
He is survived by: his daughters, Karen Metcalf and Sherri Splawn; his sons-in-law, Mike Lail, Daniel Toms and Dwayne Splawn; and his grandsons, Cory Lail (Brittny McKee), Danny Toms (Erika Doggett), Cole Lail (Heather Gilkerson), Richard Toms (Whitney Toms) and Kyle Splawn (Jolie Splawn).
