We are sad to announce that on December 22, 2022, at the age of 89, Dorothy Scott of Spindale, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Jake Horton and Charity Odessa Arrowood; her husband James Scott; her son-in-law Ronnie Owens; her nephew Ronnie Taylor; and her siblings, Lois Taylor, Mildred Harris and Doyle Arrowood.
She is survived by: her daughter Sharon Scott Owens; her granddaughter Jessica Owens Mehta (Raj); and her nieces and nephews, Sonya Grogan (JR), Kenneth Arrowood (Pam), Scott Harris (Lynn), Eddie Taylor (Jill), Kim Taylor and Cindy Arrowood.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Southern Baptist Church, 140 Church Street, Rutherfordton, NC 28139.
