He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew Lock Doby and Margaret Motley of Trading Ford; and his wife Mary Docia Brown Doby. He is survived by: his children, Ted Doby (Lila) of Lexington, Howard Doby, Jr., David Doby (Teresa) of Spencer and Betty Russell (Bo) of Okinawa. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
