He was predeceased by: his parents, Juanita Ervin Haywood and James V. Haywood; his brother Mike Haywood; his stepbrother Yancey Lee Dudley; and his stepson Gerry Lynn Livengood.
He is survived by: his daughter Robin Haywood Stamey; his granddaughter Katlyn Stamey Williams; and his siblings, Doug Haywood (Belinda), Debbie Haywood Linker (Steve), Pat Haywood Walker (Bruce) and Donie Rena Haywood.
