She was predeceased by: her husband Spencer Thornton Braswell; her parents, Pearl Liles Whitehurst and Leon Whitehurst; and her grandmother Pearl Terry Liles. She is survived by: her aunts, Ruth, Lou and Nell; her sister Helen; her son Gary; her daughter-in-law Barbara Braswell; her son Greg; her daughter-in-law Janis Braswell; and her grandchildren, Spencer Braswell and Hillary Braswell.
Visitation was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 at 1:30 PM and from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the First Baptist Church (202 S 4th St, Smithfield, NC 27577). A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
