He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Billy Ray Watkins and Bettie Newcomb Watkins; his daughters, Jennifer Watkins Zirt, Amanda Hooper (Kenny) of Salisbury and Julie Willmott (Tommy, Jr.) of Virginia Beach, VA; his siblings, George Ray Watkins (Sylvia) of Rural Hall, William Lee, Billy and Shirley Ann Koontz (Joe) of Lexington; and his grandchildren, Whitney Watkins, Zachary Watkins (Tyanna) and Thomas Willmott, III. He was also cherished by six great-grandchildren; three nieces and 2 nephews.
