He was predeceased by: his father Samuel Oscar Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Carol Gambill; his children, Gregory Grady Gambill (Paula) of Taylorsville and Lynnette Gambill Marcin (Jeff) of Durham; and his granddaughters, Allison Suzanne Gambill, Samantha Danielle Gambill and Emily Jane Gambill.
