He is survived by: his brothers, Chauncey, Oscar, Jr. and Daris; his wife Helen; his sister Donna Rowland; his children, Chauncey Edwards, Diane Poandl and Jeffrey Edwards; his grandchildren, Suzanne, Timothy, Jesse, Justin, Christopher, Sarah, Luke, Kelsey and Colin; and his great grandchildren, Dylan, Brian, Owen, Julie, Brianna, Ryan, Noah, Jack, Clara, Calvin, Rose, Kodiak and Onaleah.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Chapel of Grandview Memorial Funeral Home (789 Grandview Dr, Sparta, NC 28675). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A memorial service was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at 9:00 PM at the Grandview Memorial Funeral Home (789 Grandview Dr, Sparta, NC 28675).
