It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rose Evans Rector of Sparta, North Carolina, who passed away on September 4, 2024, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, David Smith and Martha Lucinda Weaver Evans; and her brother Robert Evans. She is survived by: her husband Willard E. Rector; her children, Lucinda Mounce (Charles) of Yadkinville, Patricia Daniels of Lexington and Michael Rector of Hamptonville; her grandson Micah Rector; her stepgrandchildren, Nicolle Bradstock (Paul), Issac and James Mounce; her great grandchild Ethan Bradstock; and her brother David Edward Evans of Sparta. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
