He is survived by: his sons, Ray Rector, Jr. (Lorrie) of Galax, Donald Rector (Lisa) of Sparta, Eric Rector, Randall Rector (Melissa) of Sparta and Brian Rector (Shelly) of Ennice; his grandchildren, April Anderson (Daniel) of Mt. Airy, Johnathan D. Rector of Georgia, Sara Elizabeth Hockaday of Georgia, Kayla Rector of Hillsville, Daniel Rector of Galax, Noah Rector of Sparta, Tate Rector (Kendra) of Baywood and Austin Rector (Jennifer) of Ennice; and his sisters, Emma Baker of Maryland, Eva Austin of Delaware and Pat Dorman of Delaware. He is also survived by nine great-grandchildren.
