She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Robinson and Stella Cagle Robinson; her husband Wesley Conrad Fortner; and her granddaughter Stephanie Smith. She is survived by: her daughter Lisa; her son-in-law Wade Brown of Galax, Virginia; her son Lee; her daughter-in-law Connie Fortner of Sparta; her siblings, Nancy Sizemore of Dobson, Ruth Robinson of Woodlawn, Virginia, Wilma Haga of Galax, Virginia and Harold Robinson of Galax, Virginia; and her great grandchild Giovanni Lopez. She is also survived by three grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; three step-great-grandchildren.
