She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Allison and Lena Reid Allison; and her husband Edmund Adams (Ed). She is survived by: her children, Allison Neely (Chip) of Raleigh and David Greer; her stepdaughter Lyda Adams Carpen (Börje) of Greensboro; and her grandchildren, Jessica Neely, Elina Carpen and Erik Carpen.
A memorial service was held on Sunday, October 27th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Sparta United Methodist Church (190 N Main St, Sparta, NC 28675).
