It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mack Davis Osborne (Sparta, North Carolina), who passed away on January 18, 2023, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father David Osborne; and his siblings, Hylda Burris, Sue Poole, Ruth Hines, Mabel Lyon, Breece Osborne and Winfrey Osborne.
He is survived by: his wife Kay Osborne; his children, Doris Williams of Sparta, Patricia Byrd (Kenneth) of Elk Creek, VA, Vickie Wagoner of Winston-Salem and Jim Osborne (Susan) of Texas; his stepsons, Jamie VanHoy of Galax, VA and Mark VanHoy (Sherrie) of Galax, VA; his brother George Osborne (Barbara) of Ennice; and his close friends, Robert Potts of Wilkesboro, Pines Restaurant and Thomas Owens. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; several great-grandchildren.
