She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Glasco and Emma Cheeks Glasco; and her husband Morgan Ray Tompkins. She is survived by: her children, Jack Tompkins (Betty) of Galax, VA, Joe Tompkins (Robin) of Hillsville, VA, Billy Tompkins (Teresa) of Ennice, Edwin Tompkins (Debbie) of Galax, VA, Buddy Tompkins (Mollie) of Beulah and Kathy Keesling (Gary) of Ennice; and her sister Nellie Starnes of Hamptonville. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
