He was predeceased by: his parents, Phillip Carmichael and Mabel Carmichael; and his brother Tommy Carmichael. He is survived by: his wife Janelle Campbell Carmichael; his daughters, Tanya Svec (Keith) and Mary MacCollum (Jonathan); his sister Mabel Butler (Russell); his sister-in-law Joann Carmichael; and his granddaughter Bethany Svec.
