She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawrence Berry and Margaret Mack; and her daughter Rebecca Plitt. She is survived by: her son James Parsons of West Jefferson; and her siblings, Larry Berry of Florida, Kelly Smith of Elkin, Patty Jaeger of New York and Cathy Oliver of Florida. She is also survived by four grandchildren.
