She was predeceased by: her parents, Eugene Johnson and Maude Eggers Johnson; her husband Walter Lee Combs; her son Dennis Walter Combs; her great grandchild Dennis Walter Combs, Jr.; and her siblings, Patsy Daniels, Betty Jean Billings, Arville Johnson, Omar Johnson, Bill Johnson, Loyld Johnson, Lowell Johnson and Walter Johnson.
She is survived by: her daughters, Diane Combs Shell of Lenoir and Tammy Combs Billings of Lexington; her grandchildren, Douglas Combs of Lenoir, Derek Bell (Angie) of Lenoir, Jennifer Whitman (Jeff) of Lexington, Sandy Worley (Jackie) of Lexington and Michael Billings (Kacy) of Lexington; her siblings, Michael Johnson of Sparta, Ella Billings (Bill) of Sparta and Brenda Cochran of Sparta; and her pet Katie. She is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
