She was predeceased by: her parents, George Emrie and Nannie Edwards Ham; her former husband Roscoe D. Evans, Sr.; her husband Elder Howard F. Royal; her son Roscoe Dean Evans, Jr.; her stepsons, Vernon Royal, Willie Royal and John Royal; and her siblings, Arvie Ham, Albert Ham, Vilace Ham, Versie Combs and Lola Davis.
She is survived by: her daughters, Reba Evans, Mae Evans and Linda Annas (Ronald) of Raeford; her stepsons, James Royal (Evelyn) of Sparta, Clarence Royal of Statesville and Carl Royal of Cody, WY; her grandsons, Roscoe Annas (Carly) of Fayetteville and Corey Annas of Raeford; and her great grandchildren, Naomie Givens, Angelina Annas, Myles Annas and Shoshanna Annas. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
