He was predeceased by: his parents, George Lundy and Gladys Clyde Fender; his children, James L. Fender and Frances Crouse; his grandson Benjamin Andrews; and his brothers, Grayson Fender and William Fender.
He is survived by: his son Jason Fender; his grandchildren, Jamie Crouse and Wynter Crouse; his great grandchildren, Emilee and Bristol Greer; his brother Robert "Bob" Fender; his sister-in-law Rachel Fender; his niece Charlotte Sloan (Matthew); and his close friend Gwyn Hamm.
