It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Harriet Opal Locklear (Sparta, North Carolina), who passed away on December 23, 2022, at the age of 61, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father Arthur Locklear; her brother Lee Locklear; her son-in-law Steven Donald Billings, Jr.; and her brother-in-law Donnie Nelson. She is survived by: her children, Michael B. Bobbitt (Samantha Manuel) of Bluff City, TN and Brandy Billings of Glade Valley; her siblings, Dollie Nelson of Sparta, Betty Smith of Sparta, Willie Ray of Jonesville and Lenny Ray of Sparta; and her grandchildren, Caitlin Bobbitt, Jordan Bobbitt, Ashley Bobbitt, Jayden Bobbitt, Gabriel Billings and Kayden Billings. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
