It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Emma E. Wiles (Sparta, North Carolina), who passed away on October 17, 2022, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father Emmitt Luther; her husband Eugene Wiles; and her brothers, Ivan, Charlie and Dean Turnmire.
She is survived by: her children, Judy Wagg (Mark) of Laurel Springs, Leonard Wiles (Kellye) of Sparta, Rex Wiles (Debbie) of Sparta, Mark Wiles (Joyce) of Sparta and Jamie Wiles (Amanda) of Piney Creek; her grandchildren, Kayla Wiles, Josh Wiles (Traci), Julie Wiles, Jessica Wiles, Jodi Wiles, Jennifer Rector (Austin), Stacey Presnell (Josh), Sarah Dalton, Felicia Chamberlain (Josh), Amber Caudill (William), Auston Wiles (Alley) and Courtney Wiles; her siblings, Ann Stike (Paul) of Ashe County, Betty McCoy (James) of Ashe County, Raymond "Pete" Paul Turnmire of Ashe County and McKinnley "Kent" Turnmire of Sparta; and her close friend Carol Bryan. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
