She was predeceased by: her parents, George Preidel and Anna Schneider Preidel; her husband Maurice Paul Woodward, Sr.; her siblings, R. George Preidel and Ruth Preidel; and her great grandchild Elizabeth Whitelaw.
She is survived by: her children, Kathleen Mizerak (Mike) of Sparta, NC, Suzanne Simmons (John) of Bluegrass, VA, Maurice Woodward, Jr. (Estrella) of Covington, GA and Bob Woodward (Diane) of Sparta, NC. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM and on Monday, November 25th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Grandview Funeral Home (789 Grandview Dr, Sparta, NC 28675). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Monday, November 25th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Columbus Cemetery. A memorial service will be held on Monday, November 25th 2024 at 4:00 PM at the Grandview Memorial Funeral Home (789 Grandview Dr, Sparta, NC 28675).
