Devon Kay Teaster Obituary

Though Devon Kay may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Devon Kay touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her brothers, Dean and Dallas Surrett; and her mother Sandra Kay Surrett. She is survived by: her father Arlie Surrett (Kenny Bevins); her daughters, Alyssa Teaster (Mace Newsome) and Addison Durham; her grandson Marshall Newsome; her sister Tonya Burton; and her birth mother Cheryl Slater. She is also survived by many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Beaverdam Baptist Church.
