He is survived by: his wife Eleanor Carpenter of Sparta; his daughter Yvonne Oliver; his grandchildren, Meghan (Brian Norris), Nelson Oliver (Holly Harper) and Logan (Celeste Oliver); and also, Emerson and Nora Beth Norris.
